The Kalkan sun shone down on the many people who gathered by the beach for Sunday's Festival of the Sea.
This is a great day in the Kalkan calendar, and we hope the photos in our report will bring you a flavour of the enjoyment and fun of the day.
Events included swimming races, sea-kayaking, a display of paragliding, water-skiing and jet-skiing, the 'grab the flag from the end of the oily pole' competition, chase the duck, and the boat race.
It must be said, that the duck was particularly clever this year, and managed to wing it away, at speed, beyond the rocks by the red lighthouse, outsmarting the swimmers trying to catch it. Sadly, it was too quick for us to get a photo!
Below, we bring you a selection of photos from a magnificent day.
If you missed the Festival of the Sea this year, you know when to book your 2013 holiday!
