Betty and her dear friend Jenny first came to Kalkan around 20 years ago and they returned year after year - usually twice a year. Locally the pair were known as “Betty-Jenny” .
Betty introduced other family members to Kalkan and they also fell in love with the place and the people. Over the years Betty made a great many friends in Kalkan.
Some of her favourite days out were either a boat trip with Sunset Boats, a trip to a trout farm in the mountains to cool off from the heat, or a lazy day at a beach club. She also loved to sit at Kleo Bar or Fener Cafe watching the boats come in at the end of the day.
Betty leaves behind her daughter, two sons, a brother and two sisters and grandchildren.
We send our condolences to her family and close friends.
May she rest in peace. Allah rahmet eylesin.
Love KTLN. Love Kalkan.
